Ads & Flyers

Advertising, Print

-Advertisements and Flyers Are Truly the Basic Foundations of Graphic Design.

Overview

Over the course of six years, through schooling, The Cougar Chronicle, The Kellogg Library, and working freelance I have designed countless ads and flyers for various things. I have designed all across the educational, informative, and promotional map.
I've learned that whether designing advertisements or flyers there needs to be a strong client/designer relationship.

Fun Facts

In Fall of 2010, I entered the TIVOLI AUDIO 10th anniversary international graphic design competition that focused on designing an ad that would be displayed in New York, on a Times Square billboard. Although I did not win, I did receive an honorable mention for my submission. Read more about the contest here

Other Details

While working with The Cougar Chronicle, I have designed ads for The North County Transit District, Brake Masters, Sears Optical, and various others.
I design ads and flyers working in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, depending on the need.
Early on in my design experience, I was taught to always consider how any design will or can be printed; whether it be in full glorious color or the more cost effective, grayscale.
