School Projects

Branding, Marketing, Advertising, Web, Print

-Four Years of Schooling, Designing, and Learning at Cal State San Marcos.

Overview

Throughout my four years in the Visual and Performing Arts department at CSUSM, I have had the opportunity to work on many artistic projects. My major, Arts and Technology, allowed me to work on not just graphic design projects but also experiment with street art, gallery works, painting, drawing, photography, and much more.
It is my belief that by being able to explore multiple areas of the art field has given way to a better rhythm in my design process.

Fun Facts

In my four years at CSUSM, I completed over 250 graphic design and graphic arts projects, entered 4 local and 3 national contests, and participated in 3 art galleries.
Graduated with a 3.33 cumulative GPA but 3.85 GPA for my major.
The year after I graduated, 2015, CSUSM's VPA transitioned to a more inclusive program called "School of Arts."

Other Details

As with most educational programs,  most of my assigned projects and homework had strict guidelines, while a few were a bit more free form. Some I had weeks to finish, while others had to be completed in a matter of a few hours. This was an even greater learning opportunity on the importance of time management and completing tasks by set deadlines. Here is a handful of work created during my time in the VPA department at CSUSM.
